Many people ask us what makes Fiji different from other South Pacific nations? the answer is simple and rolls of the tongue quickly…”The People” there has not been a truer word said than “The Fijian’s are the friendliest people IN THE WORLD”!!

Its true and is also the case here at Volivoli. Nothing would be possible without our “Extended Family” and we thank them everyday for making Volivoli what it is through their hard work and friendly faces.

Our Resort Manager / Events Coordinator

G joined the family in 2012, always smiling and joking she quickly became a favourite amongst the guests.

Originally from Sigatoka this Nadroga girl moved back to Nananu I Ra Island to take care of her grandmother and has settled into the area well.

G can do it all from lifting kegs, arranging flowers, managing reservations and generally offering amazing personal service, As resort manager she is not locked away in the office, so please do stop her for a chat when you see her about the resort!

Soni

Our Tour Guide

Soni, is a kaumatua (village elder), from Rakiraki, knows the area and its local people intimately. Previously one of the original staff members, who worked for the Darling family for 15 years. Soni is passionate about his Fijian heritage and strives to preserve the Fijian culture by sharing the colourful history and traditions with our guests.

Lakepa Settai and our renowned food and beverage consultant, Janey King-Lilo, pride themselves on creating the freshest, Fijian and fusion cuisine in the area, with almost everything made from scratch, sourced from a farmer just down the road.
